Okay Yildirim further mentions that since June 1 2019, retailers in Turkey have had a new option to replace the cost of investing in a fiscal cash register. The new "Secure Mobile Payment and Electronic Document Management System" allows for a POS solution that covers all types of payments, including food checks, and allows for the use of a variety of devices, such as mobile phones, tablets, computers, or virtual POS solutions, that can work independently or synchronously. One of the most significant benefits of this new method is that it reduces the cost of purchasing POS equipment for a business that only occasionally accepts credit cards.
